Earthlings

For the animals shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours, they move finished and more complete than ours, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren; they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of life and time, fellow prisoners of splendor and travail of the Earth. - Henry Beston

All Earthlings, or inhabitants of the Earth, endure pain, happiness, pleasure, and misery. We should not harm them for their inability to communicate and speak, but instead, embrace and admire the beauty in them. They are our equals and should be treated with the same amount of respect we give to other mortals, as shown by the sketch of a mortal with tree branches emerging from her head. A few distinct birds approach her branches wanting to rest. The birds in the picture symbolize the creatures on Earth who are embraced by the peaceful and calm human. This is how we should act. We should welcome animals who share the same world as us, and let them know that we appreciate their existence.
