Coffee Tears

Slave or underpaid labor is a huge problem today, especially for children in West Africa. West Africa has a billion dollar coffee industry. In this piece of artwork, there are coffee trees at the top. The kid represents the children in Africa, who are victims of underpaid labor. His tear represents how harsh their lives are. Later on his tears turn into coffee at the bottom. The hands with fancy cups, represent us unknowing of the pain their coffee caused.
